Amtecs Single Phase IE2 Motors

Amtecs permanent capacitor (P/Cap) electric motors are generally suited to equipment that starts up with very little or no load, i.e the load is then added once running. These motors are ideal for fans, blowers (with low starting torque needs), and intermittent cycling uses e.g. adjusting mechanisms, gate operators and garage door openers, many of which need instant reversing.

Amtecs capacitor start - capacitor run (Cap/Cap) electric motors are suitable for industrial equipment, as well as domestic applications with a single phase 220/240V supply. They are able to cope with applications that are too demanding for other types of single phase motors. In addition, they have a very high start up torque, so be sure to select one of these if fitting to equipment that will be under load from initial start up.
